The new e-Boarding Gates at Hong Kong International Airport will make boarding your next flight a completely contactless experience.
Designed to streamline the boarding process, the e-Boarding Gates use biometric technology to scan your face – all you have to do is remove your mask and look at the camera to open the gate.

When you arrive at the airport
To take advantage of this new boarding experience, you’ll need to use a valid electronic travel document to pass through the initial e-Security Gates. Please note that using a Hong Kong Identity card will not enable you to use the e-Boarding Gates. Check more information here.
