What to see at the Garin Farm in San Joaquin, Iloilo?

Updated: Dec 4, 2018

Garin Farm is an agriculture, leisure and a pilgrimage resort in one located in San Joaquin, Iloilo. If you appreciate nature and farm then this is a nice venue for you and for your family with an entrance fee of Php 150.

I travelled more or less one and a half hour from Iloilo City by jeepney at the Iloilo Terminal Market (Super) then hopped on a jeepney with a "San Joaquin" signage. Fare is around Php 70. Just ask the driver to get you off at the Garin Farm Drop Off Point.

There are tricycles waiting on the roadside where you can pay P50 (one way special trip) or P10 (joiner trip). It is also close enough to be reached by walking.

They are offering various activities like horseback riding, zipline, boating, billiard, scooter, etc. If you wish to stay overnight, they have rooms available for you and your family. If you are not fond of walking and climbing long tracks then you can rent a golf cart going to and from the peak where you can see some biblical events' sculpture and the Holy Trinity where you can view the heaven-like scene.

Look at these hungry goats eating their lunch meal. You can also see other farm animals like doves, carabaos, chickens and many more.

See their 14-hectare inland resort.

There are a total of 480 steps until the foot of the cross or 456 steps towards the Divine Mercy.

You will get a glorious heaven feel like. A great time to take photos and recognize your journey to the Kingdom of God.

I enjoyed visiting the Garin Farm, come into contact with the animals and the beauty of our nature in a holistic way. I definitely recommend this place to all travellers. Other places to visit in Iloilo. Click here.
