Jetstar Update as of January 7, 2021

Travel to and from Indonesia


The Indonesia Government has temporarily closed its borders to all foreign travellers from 1 January to 14 January 2021, with the exception of diplomatic and official service stay permit holders, and holders of Indonesia Temporary Residence Card (KITAS) and Indonesia Permanent Residence Card (KITAP).

Travel to and from Philippines


The Philippines Government has temporarily closed its borders to all foreign travelers coming from or transiting through Singapore, from 12:01am on 30 December 2020 until 15 January 2021. Entry restrictions do not apply to returning Filipino citizen, including overseas foreign workers. All returning Filipino citizens will need to undergo a 14-day quarantine regardless of a negative PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) result. On board, all passengers travelling to and from Philippines are required to wear a face shield at all times. Passengers must source their own face shield prior to travel. Jetstar Asia passengers who are no longer permitted to travel during this time are asked to contact Jetstar directly to discuss recovery options including a refund to the full value of their untraveled booking in the form of a travel credit voucher. Introduction of Passenger Service Charge (PSC) at Clark International Airport


Effective 01 January 2021, Passenger Service Charge (PSC) at Clark International Airport (CRK) is introduced for tickets issued on/after 01 January 2021 and for travel on/after 01 January 2021. Jetstar Asia is required to collect PSC on behalf of LIPAD Corp. through passenger tickets for departing passengers using CRK terminals. Below passengers are exempted from the PSC fee:

  • Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who is issued an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) by the POEA

  • Philippine’s official athlete/ delegate who issued a Letter of Endorsement from Philippines Sports Commission

  • Pilgrims attending Hajj who has a valid copy of a Hajj VISA

  • Government employees and/or officials on business who are issued a Foreign Travel Order (FTO)

  • Infant who is below two years old at the time of departure



Revised Passenger Service Charge (PSC) for Surabaya International Airport


With effect from 03 January 2021, the Passenger Service Charge (PSC) will increase from Rp210.000 to Rp230.000.


The new PSC rate will only be applicable to passengers who book their ticket from 3 January 2021 and for travel from 3 January 2021 onwards.
