Are you planning to visit Seoul and other neighbouring cities of South Korea? I got an update from an accredited agency of Korean Embassy here in the Philippines regarding the application process. Dated September 26, 2019: Please be informed that nowadays, Korean Embassy visa processing takes around 25-30 days and in some cases more than 30 days. They encourage everyone to apply a visa at least 60-80 days prior to departure.
For additional information, there is a limit on the number of visa application that they can file daily in Korean Embassy, so upon receiving applicant's complete documents, the filing will be schedule after 2-3 working days (this is subject to change without prior notice). For those who have submitted complete documents for visa application and still on process, you may use this link and check your application status - https://www.visa.go.kr or you may call the accredited travel agency to check the releasing date of your application. For those who have submitted incomplete documents, kindly provide the lacking requirements as soon as possible.
Please note that this is only applicable to the agency I partner with when processing visa applications. Other travel agencies may have different policy regarding this concern. I recommend to call them or email them to know the process.
