Updates from Scoot: Australia, Stay Home Notice & Air Travel Pass

Scoot would like to draw your attention to our latest updates.


1. Stay-Home Notice (SHN) and Covid-19 Test Requirements


Singapore

From 18​ January​ 2021​, 2359hrs​, all returning Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents from the United Kingdom and South Africa will be subject to an additional 7-day self-isolation at their place of residence, following their 14-day SHN at dedicated facilities. From 24 January 2021, 2359hrs, all travellers, including Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents, will have to take a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival in Singapore. The prevailing Stay-Home Notice (SHN) requirements, including the PCR test at the end of the SHN, will continue.


Australia

From 22​ January​ 2021​ (local time at departure point), all passengers travelling to or transiting through Australia, must also provide a negative Covid-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test result, taken within 72 hours before their flight.

2. Air Travel Pass

From 31​ January​ 2021​, 2359hrs​, all visitors applying to enter Singapore under the Air Travel Pass (ATP) must purchase travel insurance for COVID-19 related medical treatment and hospitalisation costs in Singapore, with a minimum coverage of SGD30,000.
