I will share with you the list of websites that I use whenever I book my hotels online so I can compare prices and get the best deal possible.
I usually book my accommodation 2 months before my trip or it depends if there are coupons, discount codes and other promotional offers using cash or credit card. This will give you sufficient time to check the nearest tourist spots in the area to save more time and money. This is how I organize my trip as a solo traveller.
1. Booking
I like using booking.com's website because it can show you the total amount depending on the number of nights that you will secure. You can also pay using your credit card, pay at the hotel and you can also choose the free cancellation option from their website.

2. Agoda
What I like about Agoda is that they partner with other travel websites to get reward points or air miles from Getgo Rewards by Cebu Pacific, AirAsia BIG points, Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Miles, SM Advantage/BDO rewards. It's a win-win situation for you and for them (Agoda). You will get to book your hotel and at the same time, you can get rewards. Cool, right?

3. Traveloka
This is by far my favorite website/app to use when booking my hotels. Traveloka's flight and hotel combined offers in one single app would help your trip planning much more fun and convenient than usual way. They also provide coupon codes where you can get discounts from time to time.
They also have an option where they block the rooms for a specific timeframe just in case you need to check the other properties. In this way, you can secure the hotel without worrying that someone else might book it after you.
