Where to Exchange Money in the Philippines

There are different ways to exchange your money in the Philippines and I will give some tips for you to save time finding a money exchange place. Perfect for foreigners arriving in Manila and who will be staying in Manila and other neighboring provinces.

1. Airport

A lot of us think that exchanging money at the airport is expensive and it is true, however, if you are going to calculate the difference it's going to be a few peso or less. It's always advisable to exchange your money once you arrived at the airport to avoid hassle locating a money exchange place.

2. Czarina Money Exchange

If you are staying in Manila, this is the best and safest place to visit when you need to exchange money. I tried their service and they are very reliable when it comes to currency exchange.

They have an option where you can book online and just enter all your personal information, the amount required, etc. and they will contact you once it's available for pick up. Another option is to go directly to one of their branches to assist you. I suggest calling the branch first to make sure that the currency that you want to exchange for is available.

Check out the list of branches in the Philippines.

Check out their website here and contact information.

3. Money Changer

There are small money changers in the Philippines that you can go to but here are my trusted exchange place especially if you will be traveling to the small provinces in the Philippines.

4. Local Banks

You can see different banks on every street in Manila and several branches at the city centre in the provinces. Here are some popular banks that you can visit to exchange your money.

BDO (Banco De Oro) BPI (Bank of the Philippines Islands) Metrobank PNB (Philippine National Bank)

Just be patient because there are some branches that you need to fall in line and wait for your turn or number to be called.
