San Joaquin, Church in Ilolo, Philippines

The San Joaquin Parish Church, commonly known as San Joaquin Church, is a Roman Catholic Church in the municipality of San Joaquin, Iloilo, Philippines within the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Jaro.

How to go there: You can hail a tricycle from Garin Farm Pilgrimage Resort. It will only take 5 minutes and I paid P60 for a special trip.

If you are coming from Iloilo City, just ride a jeepney with a signage going to San Joaquin. I went to Iloilo Terminal Market (Super) and paid around P70 and I get off at the Garin Farm drop off point.

The church was declared a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines.

Don't forget to pray when you visit every church in the world and appreciate not only the facade, fixtures but try to have a knowledge behind the story.
